The oldest working guest ranch in Canada was on the trail to the gold rush and has the log buildings to prove it. Situated on the banks of Green Lake, BC. The heart of the ranch consists of “old west” style log accommodations plus a new main lodge built in 2010, and other log buildings house the saloon, theater, general store, 25 guest cabins, museum, jail, blacksmith shop, workshop, barns and hay shed. There is even an air strip for fly-ins. The new main lodge is ‘state of the art’ and activity-central used for meals, licensed dining room, ultra-modern kitchen and general meeting area for guests and locals. It features a large stone fire place and cosy log furniture,and has solid oil fir floors for guests dancing enjoyment. A central bath house with ceramic flooring, has modern showers and sauna for weary riders to relax after a hard day on the trail. The log sleeping cabins are authentic and can sleep up to 100 guests.
